President’s Line

We had a great meeting last month! Robert Tomes gave an excellent seminar on fly fishing for muskie. The seminar covered just about everything you would need to start, plus a whole lot more. If you happened to miss it don't despair, Robert is going to give a on the water seminar in May. Were still working out the details, but basically you show up and get instruction on casting techniques, equipment, etc., etc. If interested contact Jim Curtiss, but hurry we only have 12 slots.

On March 14th our chapter will be co-hosting the 10th Annual Indoor Fishing Flea Market. This is a great event to buy, sell, and trade that fishing & boating equipment that you are no longer using. This year Musky Hunter Cary Gelfond will give a seminar on Lake Webster. Dale Bowman, outdoors writer for the Chicago Sun Times is going to give a speech on the conditions at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. We will also announce the winners of our "Muskie Art" raffle.
